Viewer Guide: Distressing Content & Talking To Someone

Sometimes content you watch on TV, at the cinema or online, or what you listen to - can be distressing. Whether it be a fictional depiction in a show or movie, material derived from real life in a documentary or news segment, or content within a podcast or music - everyone can be affected in different ways by the content they consume.

It's essential that you have access to information and resources so you feel comfortable watching and listening to the content you're exposed to each day.

There are support organisations and groups in every country around the world that you can consult with. Choose your country from the list below, or if your country isn't listed, contact your country's emergency service or your doctor.

If you think you may need urgent help, contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest emergency department or doctor.
