This is a legal agreement between you ("you"/"the user") and EDM Broadcasting Pty Ltd ("EDM Broadcasting"/"event.digital") for the use of the event.digital service ("event.digital"/"the service"/"us"), which may include but is not limited to the event.digital site and related properties. By subscribing or using the service, including using our website, you agree to the terms of this agreement.
event.digital is a streaming service that gives you access to content that may include but is not limited to films, TV series, music, and podcasts – that may be accessible through the Web, apps and various devices. The service is licenced for access in all territories worldwide, including space.
You may not use the service for public performances without prior written permission from event.digital. You agree that any such public performance permission may be on a per-product basis and may incur additional licensing fees.
Your subscription to the service continues until terminated.
You may be offered various subscription options including free, ad-supported, paid, pay-per-view, or a combination of these. Any paid subscription or access to the service that requires payment will be clearly indicated to you.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the service. Users under this age must have obtained suitable permission from their parent/guardian, and the service must be used under such supervision. Under no circumstances may you sign up for the service as a minor, where you are legally unauthorized to provide your details to us.
If you are on a paid service, prices may be subject to change. You will be notified of any pricing change at least 30 days prior, or as required by law.
You agree to keep your login details confidential, and keep your details with us accurate and up-to-date.
If you are using event.digital as a paid service, you agree to supply a current, valid payment method, which may include a pre-paid option, and permit us to deduct your subscription fee from your selected payment method, for each billing cycle until terminated. Unless you cancel your service, you authorize us to bill your nominated payment source for the next billing cycle.
You can update your payment methods at any time via your subscription login. We may also update your details using information provided by the payment service providers.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via your subscription login. If you cancel your subscription within a billing period, you will continue to have access to the service until that billing period has concluded.
Internet access and suitable devices
You will need to have access to an Internet connection of sufficient speed, bandwidth and data transfer capacity, as well as a suitable Web-enabled device, to use event.digital. It is the user’s responsibility to supply and pay for their own Internet service and device, and ensure their connection is at a suitable standard. Any pricing to use event.digital excludes service charges that you may be charged by third parties, including your Internet Service Provider or Internet access supplier. event.digital shall in no way be liable for access charges incurred by you to use the service.
You are responsible for maintaining your Internet connection, including Internet access costs incurred from accessing data through the service. Contact your internet service provider (ISP) or telecommunications provider for details on fees you may be charged.
Use of the service
You agree to only use the service as intended, and will not attempt to download, modify, copy, transmit, re-distribute, reproduce or perform content from the service without prior express written permission from event.digital. You must not attempt to circumvent or reverse engineer any anti-piracy or digital rights management technology that may be in use on the service. You agree to abide to all applicable laws that may apply to you while using the service.
You must use the service in accordance with applicable laws.
The quality of the service may vary depending on your deice and Internet connection. To the maximum extent possible by law, we make no warranties about the quality of your viewing experience, including buffering and download times.
The content available to you may vary depending on the geographic region/territory from which you are accessing the service, and may be due to licensing requirements and other mandatory restrictions. If you change location while using the service, including if travelling, the content accessible to you may change. You acknowledge that you will not attempt to make the device you are using to access the service appear to be located in a different location other than where it is physically located.
event.digital makes no promise or representation as to which content will be available in your territory. Content availability may change at any time, without prior notice. It is the user’s responsibility to check the content available on the service for the region in which they are located.
The user acknowledges and agrees that occasionally, routine maintenance and upgrades may result in certain content or sections of the system being temporarily unavailable.
You acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms of the event.digital privacy statement.
Intellectual property & Third party content
All content on event.digital is the intellectual property of event.digital, our content partners, licensors or other copyright holders. The intellectual property is protected by, and your use of the service is subject to you abiding to all applicable laws.
Most content on event.digital has been produced by third parties, and may not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of event.digital, its staff, contractors or suppliers.
No right, title or interest in the service or its content shall transfer to you.
Termination of service
Your access to the service may be suspended or cancelled if we suspect unauthorized activity on your account or originating from your device/IP address, or if we have grounds to believe you have breached the terms of this agreement.
To the maximum extent possible under law, event.digital takes no responsibility for the use or inability to use the service or associated technologies. We make no assurances as to the suitability or accuracy of any information contained on the service.
event.digital does not accept unsolicited materials and is not responsible for any similarity in content on our service in any media or ideas transmitted to us.
If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
This agreement may be changed at any time. You will be notified of a change to this agreement through a notification on the event.digital site, a subscriber email, or a notification when you log in. By continuing to use the service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the new agreement(s).
While every effort has been made to incorporate content ratings classifications, event.digital makes no representation or warranties as to the accuracy of such classifications.
We may transfer any or all rights/obligations under this agreement to a third party, and you agree to cooperate in any such assignment or transfer.
As a subscriber, you may occasionally receive email correspondence, including newsletters, directly from us. We will never share your details with third parties. You can easily turn your newsletter subscription on and off at any time via your membership area. Under exceptional circumstances, if required to do so by law, or in order to provide important information relevant to your subscription, we may contact you even if you have turned off your newsletter subscription.
Choice of law and forum
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia and is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
